Background
Ceramic Artist Joanne McKenna creates highly individual work that
is both sculptural and functional. She studied in Limerick College
of Art and Design in the early 1990s and is a founder member of
Bridge Street Studios, which was set up in 1996, and remains the
only private enterprise group studio in the Northeast. Joanne
is perhaps best known for her exciting designs incorporating the
forms and details of European Architecture. Her pieces are
fantastical yet familiar and seem to exude a character all of their
own.
